Kramer Beverage Company is committed to responsible service and consumption of its products at all levels of the beverage industry.
Kramer Beverage supports the MillerCoors 21 Means 21 campaign developed to communicate that brewers do not want the business of America’s under-21 year-olds. For retailers, the messages reinforce the importance of checking I.D.s. They are featured in point of sale materials and merchandise. For consumers 21 years of age and older, the message emphasizes that it is illegal to buy alcohol for, or serve it to, anyone who is underage. For those who are under 21 years of age, the message is clear: “The only good decision is not to drink. When they are 21, it is their choice. Until then, the brewers will wait for their business”.
Since June 2012, all advertising and marketing materials that are used in college sports alliances must include use of the 21 means 21 logo. From September 2012 to January 2013, in partnership with the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) the message “21 Means 21” was spread through radio and online public service announcements. These radio spots were distributed nationally with specific attention on the 26 “Respect 21″TM college towns.
TIPS (Training in Intervention Procedures by Servers of alcohol) is a nationwide certification program that teaches the responsible serving of alcohol. The TIPS training session is devoted to legal, safety, and etiquette of great bartending. Issues addressed include: checking IDs, the physiological and psychological effects of consuming alcohol, and the best methods to handle guests in various circumstances. The TIPS portion of the course uses an interactive case method where various scenarios are acted out to give you an accurate portrayal of the proper methods for handling difficult situations. At the end of this session, you’ll take the TIPS certification exam and receive your certification card in the mail.
Kramer Beverage is proud to support the HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers, a nationwide effort based in our South Jersey area. In cooperation with schools, professional sports teams and leagues, businesses, law enforcement agencies, MADD, and other community-based organizations, we ask all our retailers and consumers to help keep drunk drivers off our highways. Kramer Beverage wants to encourage consumers of all adult beverages to use designated drivers wherever and whenever possible.
