The charity Kramer Beverage picked for August is Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America. This organization is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations.
Since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has been changing the lives of young children by matching them with caring adults who lead them on a path to success. Their organization operates under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, impactful matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18. They develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America helps children realize their potential and helps build their futures. They nurture the children and help strengthen the communities. Their mission of providing children who are facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships, will change their lives forever. Their goal is for all these children to achieve success in their lives.
The Kramer Beverage team raised a total of $902 for Big Brothers, Big Sisters Across America.
