Atlantic City Rescue Mission is the largest shelter in South Jersey that provides relief for the homeless. Operating primarily as a private non-profit Christian organization, it is financially supported by donations from individuals, businesses, and other local organizations.
The Atlantic City Rescue Mission works tirelessly to help people get back on their feet. Housing over 300 people every night, and serving nearly 730 meals per day, this shelter serves as a sanctuary for many. According to nj.com, there are 8,941 homeless men, women, and children across the state of New Jersey.
Founded in 1964 by John Fink, for the last 50 years, this organization has put together countless programs to provide people with hope and the right tools towards restoring their life back together.
