The Kramer Beverage team is the best at what they do.
In 1810 there was a celebration to honor the wedding of a Bavarian prince to a princess of Saxony. As it turned out, the party was so fun that we’re still celebrating 185 years later.
The beers served at Oktoberfest in Germany are some of the original breweries from the area like Paulaner and Hofbrau. In the past decades, breweries across the globe have begun to brew their take on the seasonal favorite.
Traditional Oktoberfest-style beers are amber-colored lagers with a heavy malt backbone and a dry finish. The easy drinkability of the style, along with an ABV of around 6% often times lead to great times. The following Oktoberfest beers are the favorites of the Kramer team:
MATT KOEHLAR, Craft & Specialty Sales Representative
Every year Sierra Nevada collaborates with the best breweries in the world to make their Oktoberfest. For 2019, Sierra Nevada and Bitburger came together to create a smooth malty beer, rich in amber color with a secret hop blend straight from Munich.
JAKE DANLEY, Retail Account Specialist
Leinenkugel’s Oktoberfest has a toasted malt flavor and subtle, spicy hop notes that make it perfect for celebrating Fall in true German fashion. One of my favorite seasonal beers!
JAKE BALL, Craft & Specialty Sales Representative
When I think of Octoberfest, I think of a sweet, malty beer that is reflective of the festive time of the year. Sam Adam’s OctoberFest is always a go-to for me at this time of year. It pours a golden amber hue, and has the perfect amount of malt and hop flavor.
DAN CHECK, Craft & Specialty Sales Manager
Warsteiner Oktoberfest is one of the original Oktoberfests from Germany. Following the German purity laws, this malty seasonal beer has everything that traditional and modern drinkers want.
